02 Mar The Todd Everett Experience, California & Grand Rapids Celebrate Love Together!
On Saturday February 1st, 2020, The Todd Everett Experience had the opportunity to take their show on the road. While driving from Detroit, MI through a mild snow storm and passing several vehicles that slid off the road, we made it safely by the grace of God to The Cheney Place located not too far from Downtown Grand Rapids, MI.
The Mother-Of-The Bride, who lives in California, found us online and became a fan of our Wedding DJ work. The couple, John & Jayme, had a very large number of guest whom traveled from the West Coast to join them on their Wedding Day in Michigan. Their ceremony and reception were held on the lower level of the venue, but their guest were able to experience some of the venue’s treats on the upper level during cocktail hour. The Cheney Place is full of vintage pieces, such as record players, antique furniture and art, that created a really cool social ambiance.
We played everything from West Coast Hip-Hop, Top 40, Pop, Jazz and Motown Hits. The Bride’s stepfather was a choreographer for the Temptations, so he showed us some classic moves throughout the night!
